Venue Owners, Promoters and Talent Buyers, You Should All Be Doing This
Tomorrow night, my wife and I are going to our first show at the HopMonk Tavern in Novato. The day before the show we received the following email from the talent buyer:

Q: Are minors allowed?
A: the Session Room is 21+ only (unless otherwise noted).
Q: What time does the show start?
A: Doors open at 7:30pm and the show starts at 8:30pm.
Q: Is seating available?
A: The Session Room is a general admission, standing room only venue with a few first-come, first-serve seats towards the back of the venue. We do occasionally have fully seated shows. Seated shows are noted on the ticket link.
Q: Do you have A.D.A. seating?
A: Absolutely. A.D.A. seating is available upon request. Please contact us via phone [phone number redacted] during our daytime hours at least a day before hand to reserve seats.
Q: Do you serve food in the Session Room?
A: No food is permitted in the music venue. However, the Tavern connected to the Session room is open all day and serves delicious food! We highly recommend making a reservation in the Tavern at least an hour before doors open to the Session Room. You can make a reservation by calling [phone number redacted].
Q: Does the Session Room venue have it’s own bar?
A: Yes. 16 fresh beers on tap and a full bar alway available from the Session Room Bar.
Q: Do I need to bring my ticket with me?
A: After completing your purchase, you will receive an email confirmation with your attached PDF ticket(s). You MUST print and bring your PDF tickets AND VALID PHOTO IDENTIFICATION to be admitted for the event. You may show your ticket on your mobile device for entry in lieu of printing.
Q: Is there parking?
A: Parking is free and there is plenty of it.
Q: Where is the restroom?
A: Restrooms are located in the nearby Tavern Bar area.
My wife and I see a lot of live music. We always have questions about the shows we are about to attend, especially when they take place at a venue we have never been to. The only question we have for tomorrow night’s performance now is, “will he do 7 Come 11?”
HopMonk Novato is way ahead of the game. I think we have a lot of trips to Novato in our future.
