Lindsey Buckingham
Lindsey Buckingham is best known as the lead guitarist and vocalist of Fleetwood Mac. He also has a healthy collection of solo albums under his belt. Now he’s partnering up with ground(ctrl) to help manage some of his web presence.
We put up a temp site earlier this year designed by Anthony Ordonez. This was in preperation for some marketing efforts to lay the groundwork for a new solo album. The new album is out now, and temp site has been replaced with the real deal.
Features
This site was a pretty strait forward build. Obviously, it is designed to showcase his new solo record, Seeds We Sow and promote the supporting tour.  I had a little fun with the audio player on the home page. It’s an instance of the LongTail JW player with a little javascript thrown in so I could create a custom playlist. Management asked to only include the one song, but I might just go ahead and throw in some 30-second samples of the new album to fill it out.
