The Hot Club of San Francisco continues the tradition of fine French Gypsy Jazz performed on string instruments. And the same familiar faces and tunes that you’ve come to know in our 11+ years.

hcsf.com was originally built in Flash by Ivan Sohrakoff, who is now the project manager for the client. He brought me on as developer in 2010 when the band needed a more robust, accessible website with a content management system.
Features
The site features a blog, events calendar, and video gallery that are managed via the CMS. The rest of the website is good, old fashioned static HTML with some light javascript to liven things up. The players page has a nice little accordion that hides and displays a band member bios, and there is a simple HTML5 audio player in the header.
