Backstreet Boys Fanclub

The Backstreet boys are a pop band that had huge popularity in the mid 90's. They recently decided to get the band back together and start touring and recording agin. The needed a new online fanclub, so naturally they called ground(ctrl).

Features

As with all ground(ctrl) powered sites, this system is a fully featured social network that promotes communication between fans and artists. Visitors can befriend one another as well as communicate with the band via a public commenting system, private messaging, and forums. The site is also a full featured website that allows the artists and their management team to blog, post news articles, photos, video, tour dates, host contests and run grass roots street team promotions. There is also a store where visitors can purchase tickets, digital downloads, and merchandise.

Needless to say, the site gets lots of traffic. Definitely one of the biggest projects I’ve taken on. The site is membership based and is $34.95/year. If you are nostalgic for this legendary boy band, you really need to sign up. They show up in the chat rooms pretty regularly and love getting and responding to comments from fans.
