Two Thousand Ten
Many of my friends have said 2010 was a bad year for them. I can surly empathize. I’ve had my share of rough years; not 2010, though! I was fortunate to have had a very enjoyable one. Here are some highlights and maybe a little perspective.
I took some of my holiday down time these past few weeks and skimmed through my various internet hangouts to see exactly what 2010 brought me. As it turns out, it was a pretty darn good year.
Ollie agreed to a haircut.
I went to Seattle to partake in An Event Apart ... And local libations.
I fell in love with farming.
I saw the Avett Brothers at the Crest Theater.
Got back into skateboarding.
Took Ella to her first bluegrass festival.
Grew tobacco.
Worked a huge rock festival.
Made a sweet Ultraman costume.
My country band opened for Billy Joe Shaver at the Palms Playhouse.
Spent three weekends in Lake Tahoe. Three separate weekends!
